5 Reasons

We are only a few weeks away from Easter, and we are excited about the potential that is in front of our church. This is an opportunity to see many lives changed with the greatest news this world can hear! As a church, we experience these types of seasons that represent incredible opportunities. We all need to consider how we can play our part.

I want to challenge everyone to consider who you can bring to church with you. Who has God put within your sphere of influence? Who has God called you to reach? Your neighbor? Your brother? Your classmates? Your closest friend?

Here are 5 reasons you should bring 5 people with you!

1) Jesus is alive and the tomb is empty! – Our God is not dead. He is alive. And He has the power to change people’s lives. It’s our job to bring them, and it’s His job to change them. If we do our part, God will do His.

2) It’s going to be AWESOME! – We are investing significant time and energy into this experience, and we believe it will be an excellent display of the Gospel. (I love my church!)

3) Someone brought you. – There was a time when you were lost and needed Christ. I guarantee that someone made a deposit in you along the way that led to your life being changed. Now it’s your turn to do it for someone else. Nearly everyone that attends a church for the first time goes because someone brings them! Be a bringer.

4) God calls us to reach others. – The Great Commission isn’t really a suggestion; it’s a command. God has sent us into the world to reach it. It’s not okay to live in our little world and never share what we have with those around us. Jesus said if any of us are ashamed of Him, He will be ashamed of us before our Father in Heaven.

5) There’s no greater joy! – There’s nothing better than knowing you had a small role in leading someone to Christ. You will never regret bringing someone to hear the Good News. However, you can regret never telling them. Not only will Heaven celebrate when someone turns to Christ, but you get to celebrate as well!

This weekend, at all of our campuses, we will hand out specific invites for Easter. Take those invites and use them to bring someone with you. Don’t just invite them to show up, but offer to meet them and/or to bring them to church with you. You’ll be glad you did!

Below are the Experience Times for our Campuses:

Apr 19 – 4:30pm & 6:15pm
Apr 20 – 9:30am & 11:15am

Apr 20 – 9:30am & 11:15am
