How could a church with a heart to reach a city for Christ make the biggest impact?

All of those things are good and worth doing, but none of those things will impact a city like serving it with no strings attached. That is exactly what we are going to do this coming week.
Impact Week is right around the corner (May 25-June 1.) What is Impact Week? It’s a week that we designate for our church to impact our city through acts of service. We simply love people. Not with words, but in action.
For our Spring Impact Week we have set a goal of giving away 2500 hours of service. That is a big number, but I also believe that it is something that we can accomplish. If everyone who is part of our church would commit to serve for at least 2 events, we could do it. Here are some of the events we will be doing.
- Free Car Washes
- Feeding the hungry through our ministry partners
- Giving away hundreds of bottles of water
- Giving away hundreds of hot dogs in impoverished areas
- Helping local businesses and communities with cleaning projects
This is your way to make an impact in someone’s life. Don’t expect someone else to do it. Don’t make excuses as to why you can’t donate a few hours during this one week to meet someone’s needs. I’m sure if Jesus was here, he’d be part of Impact Week!!
