This weekend when you arrive at Crossroads Church, you might notice a few changes have taken place over the last week. Our auditorium has been expanded! Tons of volunteers and contractors have been working around the clock (literally) to prepare for this weekend.
So here are a few thoughts to keep in mind before you come this weekend.
1) Our experience times have changed to help with parking issues. Right now we do not have enough parking and are working on some short term solutions. We are moving up our first experience on Sunday to 9:30 a.m. to leave more time for people to file out before our next crowd shows up. So, if you plan to attend the first experience, show up before 9:30 a.m.
2) It’s not finished! I wish our building was completely done, but it’s not. It has been a major challenge just to get the room operational for this weekend. So please excuse our dust and unfinished walls. We promise that it will look amazing when it is completely done.
3) Be patient with our tech crews. We have many sound and lighting issues to work out over the next several weeks. There might be places where the sound is louder than normal or a bit harsh. We also are installing a completely new and upgraded lighting package. So, if things aren’t working properly this weekend, be patient with us.
4) We now have more room for you to invite your friends. I want to challenge everyone in our church to be inviting people. The whole reason we are doing this is to make room for more to hear the Gospel. Now, it’s our turn to reach them.
I can’t say enough how thankful I am for the many volunteers who have given their days and nights to help us. We would NOT be having church without them! You guys are the best. I love you.
