Weekend Recap

This past weekend was INCREDIBLE.  I dealt with one of the most crucial lies of the devil – I believe in God, so I’m going to heaven.

This was pretty much a straight-up presentation of the Gospel and what Jesus had to say about heaven and hell.  We looked at his words in Luke 13:22-28.  The response was amazing.  We had people in every Weekend Experience surrender their lives to Jesus.  We ran out of Next Step Kits and had to prepare more on Sunday.  We had many respond and 10 people that told us they committed their life to Christ.  70% of the people who gave their lives to Christ this weekend were first or second time guests.  Great job Crossroads.  Keep inviting people.

So many pastors are afraid to talk about hell.  They would rather talk about how God is Love and Mercy because that’s popular, but don’t want to talk about how God is Holy and Just!   People are hungry for the truth.  And whenever the Gospel is preached, the power of God is released!!  (Romans 1:16)
