Who has your back? If your world starting sinking, who would know where to find a life perserver? Who would step in and lend a helping hand? If you aren’t sure how to answer that question, then perhaps you are swimming through this life alone!
We are in a message series called Drowning. A couple of weeks ago, I preached a message called, “Who has your back?” I’m concerned that many people aren’t really sure who has their back. Today, so many people feel like they are drowning, and they have nobody to tell. That isn’t how God intended for us to live.
(If you missed that message, I encourage you to take some time to watch it.)
As a church, we want to give you an opportunity to get connected into a smaller circle within our church. We believe that circles are better than rows. We always want to see our church continue to grow larger as we reach people with the gospel, but we also believe it is vital for people to get into a smaller circle to build the relationships they need to go through life together. We believe that you grow spiritually when get connected relationally.
So on our campuses we are hosting a Connect Event to help you find connection within our church in a small group. We know that it feels strange joining a small group that is already in progress. Our Connect Event is the place to find other people who are looking to connect with people just like you. Perhaps, this will be your opportunity to get some people to have your back.
