Don’t read this if you want to stay broke!

I guess if you are reading this, then you want to be successful with your money.  I’m excited to welcome to our church Joe Sangl!  We handed out over 600 copies of his book, I was Broke. Now I’m Not., to our church at the beginning of our Broke[n] Series.  I believe Joe’s message about living a fully-funded life will resonate with all.

Let me share several of the ways we are investing in our church to help people with their finances.

Joe Sangl and his team will be training nearly 20 financial coaches for a new ministry we are starting.  These financial coaches will be equipped to continually help our people get counsel and direction for their personal finances.  This will be a free ministry that we hope to get in place in the next month.

Also, Joe Sangl will be preaching to our church this weekend! He has an incredible message with some practical information that will help you gain some momentum in your finances.  Make sure you attend church this weekend to hear his story.

We are holding a Financial Learning Experience (FLE) on Sunday, March 8th from 3-5pm at our Lithopolis Campus.  This is a 2 hour financial seminar that Joe has taught to more than a hundred thousand people around the country.  Each participant will receive some resources to help them get the most out of this seminar. This event is free, however you must register.  You can register HERE.

Lastly, we are going to continue this conversation about living a fully funded life with Joe’s 6 Week Small Group Study.  Many of our ccGroups are already signed up to work through this study.  We also know there are people who may not be in a group, but would like to be part of this study.  If you would like to be part of a special 6 Week Small Group, that will be hosted at the church by some of our financial coaches, please fill out this FORM.

As a church, we are doing all that we can to help you put your finances back on track.  If you missed any of the messages from this series, you can watch them online HERE.  If you consider Crossroads your home church, I’m asking you to make attending church this weekend a PRIORITY!  I promise you will be glad you did.

See you this weekend.

P.S. – Don’t forget to set your CLOCK forward 1 hour Saturday night so you don’t miss this special weekend!

  1. I just attended the Broken Series in Lancaster. As matter of fact that was the first whole series I was a part of and I learned a lot from it, I also received one of the books that was handed out as part of this series and its deep, yet I relate on many levels as much of my friends do as we’ll. I really love and enjoy going to this church. It is unlike any I’ve ever been to and you can definitely feel the presence of God when service begins, especially when you have Joey up on stage singing his heart out and that amazing band playing their hearts out as well. Then you have pastor Tim, wow. I’ve never had the Bible taught to me in a way quite like he does it, and he makes it so understandable with humor and great examples as well as research and direction from God. The way pastor Tim ministers keeps your attention and allows you to get a better understanding of what the particular passage reads. I just know that my fiancé and I love this church, we intend on staying for a very long time and will continue to volunteer to set up and tear down. Thank you for everything you do, we appreciate all that you are and all that you do, not only for us but our community as well. God Bless.
