This evening our staff will host all of the volunteers of Crossroads Church. We have personally invited around 200 people to VE 2011 (Volunteer Event.) It is going to be an electric evening.
I cannot begin to tell you how incredibly proud I am of the people who make Crossroads happen each weekend. I know it sounds bad to have favorites in the church, but in this case I do. The people who give their sweat equity to build God’s church are by far my favorite at Crossroads. If that offends you…then serve!
Tonight I am going to share about many of the changes we are making to better serve our volunteers. We have spent thousands of dollars and countless hours overhauling our volunteer space and systems. We will continue to do whatever it takes to invest in our volunteers, love on them, and appreciate everything they do. I will also be sharing insider information about all that God is doing in our church!
Today is just one of those proud moments for me. I can’t believe I get to lead such an amazing group of people.
