Amazing Weekend

We had a pretty incredible weekend at Crossroads. We challenged people all month to bring someone to hear the Gospel. The response was incredible.

All of our experiences were at or above 90% full. I heard stories of people bringing friends and loved ones that had never set foot in a church or hadn’t for a long time.

One of my favorite stories was a family that had been trying to get their 82 year old grandfather to church for over 50 years…he came. Or the woman who told me that she brought her agnostic fiancé.

Seeing God move was incredible. We saw many surrender to Christ. As well, I know that the seed of the Gospel was planted in MANY more.

To my church, I wanted to say how PROUD I am of you for inviting so many people.
You get it!
I love you.

  1. Pastor Tim,

My husband and I knew it was no coincidence that you made the announcement to invite non-believing friends/family to a special experience in November. Just a week prior, we went on a family vacation with our 20 year old nephew who confided in us he no longer believed in God. We called him anyway and invited him to the Saturday evening service which he skeptically accepted.
Through out the whole service I watched him truly pay attention to the message. I watched his face ease. I watched him laugh and smile. I felt as if God specifically wrote a letter directly to Tyler but asked you to deliver it in the form of a message. Everything you said, every song from the band, every example, every joke and story was intentionally thought out and expressed as if it were written for one purpose and one purpose only; my nephew. I know I’m not alone when I say this as the excitement in the room was so evident. As we piled into the car on the way home, I quietly grinned and thanked God above as my self proclaimed agnostic nephew casually said, “that was cool….I’ll definitely be back.”
